Our very popular and practical book repair workshops are making their final appearance on our Training Calendar this year.  Our long-time workshop leader, Dr. Miriam Kahn, is taking a break for the foreseeable future. We very much appreciate the years of high-quality training sessions and want to be sure that you don’t miss your last chance to take these workshops. In-person only—no recording will be available. Registration closes April 3, 2019.
This day-long, hands-on session will teach high quality, less damaging repair techniques to keep your circulating collection looking healthy. Attendees will learn how to repair torn pages, tip-in loose pages, tighten hinges, reattach broken hinges, and repair spines simply and easily.

This day-long session walks participants through decision-making and product evaluation for rare, brittle, and fragile books, how to apply stabilizing preservation decisions, and how to evaluate rehousing and boxing options.
