[OPLINLIST] Policy for School Visits

Hi Amanda,
We serve all schools in our county including parochial, public and Amish.
When we visit a public school the teachers sign up for 15 minute intervals
and we stay as long as they need us depending on the size of the school. We
go on a bi weekly schedule as it easier for the children to remember to
bring books back. We make the calendar in the spring for the following year
so that the school can put us on their master calendar for the fall.
We are fine free. Teachers decide how many books students may get and we
limit to 2 of each kind. We insist that teachers or an aide accompany the
class to help decide what is appropriate and to alleviate behavior
problems.
 We are at our Amish stops for 30 minutes each one time a month.
Amish we do not have a limit or have behavior issues and rarely have
overdues or damaged items. They choose for the whole family and know what
they are allowed and not allowed to get. We do take along 3 double carts
that are strictly for them.
We circulate more than our children's room with myself and a driver only.
