All-Day Event Featuring Writing Programs & Author Presentations


*         Traditional Publishing vs. Self-Publishing

9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

Join local author Susan Behon as she shares her experience with the pros and cons of both sides of the publishing business - self-publishing vs. traditional publishing house. Susan will discuss her experience with finally "making it" as a writer when obtaining her first publishing contract and how her views changed concerning what constitutes success in the world of writing. The speaker's books will be available for purchase.



*         Paper Making with Pulp Painting

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Learn how to make paper in this one hour papermaking with pulp painting and sponge pressing class. Presented by the Morgan Art of Papermaking, Conservatory, and Educational Foundation. Registration required.



*         Author Mindy McGinnis

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Edgar-award winning novelist whose books span many genres, Mindy McGinnis will speak about her writing, answer audience questions, and sign books for sale.
