Karly West resides in Lorain County, Ohio and is the author of the The
Scholarly Banana YA books. Her first book, The Scholarly Banana Presents
Fitcher's Bird: a classic fairy tale from the Brothers Grimm, is out and is
absolutely fabulous . Her second book, The Scholarly Banana Presents The
Juniper Tree: A Classic Fairy Tale from the Brothers Grimm, will be
released soon. Karly wrote, illustrated,and self published her books. She
is a sculptural artist and created all of the clay sculptures featured in
the books.

Here is a description of the program:

The Scholarly Banana is a comedic graphic novel series for teens and adults
that retells old, creepy fairy tales and tricks you into learning fun facts
about them! Join local author Karly West to learn about her creative
processes, sculptural techniques, and lessons learned about
conceptualizing, writing, designing, and independently publishing The
Scholarly Banana's first two books.

This program is open to teens & adults. Registration with an email is
required to receive the link for ZOOM.
