[cid:image004.jpg at 01D5C70A.0E6A1010]The State Library of Ohio is pleased to announce the 2020 Summer Library Program (SLP) Grant<stliboh.info/jt8> in conjunction with the 2020 Collaborative Summer Library Program "Imagine Your Story" theme. The purpose of the grant program is to empower libraries to enhance their 2020 SLPs with library-led activities that spark creativity and productivity, engage individuals, and benefit their communities. Libraries may apply for up to $1500 in federal LSTA<stliboh.info/2bm> funds to support their SLP and need to provide a 25% local financial match of the total project cost.

Libraries may use the awarded federal funds to purchase program materials, supplies, and/or contractual services for the activities offered to the community during the 2020 SLP. Please refer to the FAQs tab for specific guidelines on the use of awarded funds. Participating libraries are encouraged to collaborate with other community entities, organizations, or agencies that also serve the targeted groups.

The cash local match may be from the library budget, donations, fundraising, etc.
This grant does not require the project coordinator to have an MLS/MLIS degree. Also, please note that use of CSLP themes and materials is NOT required for a library to be eligible for this LSTA grant.
