I don't know about you but I have found myself seeking increasingly more methods of self-care as the pandemic continues into the fall.  Even as a natural introvert, I am finding the sense of social isolation wearing.  The constant changes needed to adapt to everyday life and work have become a bit mind boggling and a distorted sense of time has left me feeling fatigued.  With all of that occurring, it is sometimes hard to cheerfully answer the same question over and over or not to grumble at one more demand that gets added into the day.  So, I was really happy to know that Erin Turner will be doing another webinar for us on November 19, 2020.  Her topic, " Coping in a New World: How to continue to thrive and cope while providing public service" <http://mms.neo-rls.org/ct.php?lid=39896757&nr=5195728607> will help us think about how change impacts us, how we can keep ourselves safe and emotionally well during times of change and how to develop new techniques to support decreasing levels of worry and anxiety.  The goal is to help us take good care of ourselves while providing quality public service during COVID but I know I will take away tips and techniques to help me regardless of what I am doing. In an effort to be better and more culturally authentic, CSLP is forming a new Artwork Committee consisting of both State Representatives and frontline librarians who can evaluate and offer thoughtful criticism of sketches.
Committee makeup:
8-12 members, both State Reps and frontline librarians

CSLP is looking for people to volunteer for the 2022 Artwork Committee...

Meet the New Interim Director of the Kent State University iSchool

Harper previously served as the Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) program coordinator as well as the school library media concentration coordinator.
