[OPLINLIST] Reminder: Call for ideas: 2024 CSLP summer program slogan and 2025 theme - April 12 deadline

Good morning,

Just a reminder that a survey is open through 9:00 am next Monday, April 12, to help plan for future offerings from the Collaborative Summer Library Program<https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/cslp_24slogan_25theme> (CSLP).

CSLP is asking for suggestions from librarians nationwide for:

  *   2024 program slogan - the 2024 theme is Adventure and the artist is Juana Martinez-Neal<https://juanamartinezneal.com/>. See some samples of Juana's artwork<https://library.ohio.gov/wp-content/uploads/Juana_artwork1.jpg>.
  *   2025 program theme - artist TBD

A CSLP theme is a general topic to frame SLP programming, decorations, etc., such as music or space.
A CSLP slogan is the catchphrase or name of the SLP, based on the theme, such as "Libraries Rock" or "A Universe of Stories." A good slogan is memorable and enlivens the theme. The slogan must be appropriate for all age groups (early literacy, children, teens, adults) and the concept of it must be translatable to Spanish.

The 2021 theme is Animals and the slogan is "Tails and Tales."

Suggest the themes and slogans you'd like to have for your SLP!

All questions are optional. There is also a feedback opportunity, should you have any other suggestions for the CSLP or any questions.

Multiple staff members from your library may respond to this survey. Each respondent should complete the survey separately.

The deadline to submit theme and slogan suggestions is 9:00 am on Monday, April 12. I will compile the suggestions from Ohio librarians and submit to CSLP. They will be considered along with suggestions from the other states and territories, and will be decided at the CSLP's virtual Annual Meeting later this year.

All Ohio public libraries are members of CSLP and have input and access to their materials, thanks to support from federal Institute of Museum and Library Services LSTA funds administered by the State Library of Ohio.
