The following position will be available as of July 2, 2021, at Henderson Memorial Public Library.
Position will remain open until filled - all applications received by June 26, 2021, will be considered first.

Position: Youth Services Coordinator, part-time
                  30 hours per week including some evenings and weekend rotation

Pay: $11.50/hour
Benefits: life insurance, accrued vacation and sick days

The Henderson Memorial Public Library has an opening for a Youth Services Coordinator. We are looking for an energetic, friendly individual who would like to be part of a dynamic environment and a develop an engaging relationship with community partners.

Summary:
The Youth Services Coordinator provides reference and reader's advisory services with an emphasis on children and teens; maintains collection development in the youth department; coordinates consistent programs both in person and virtually to work into library initiatives, departmental objectives, and community events; adheres to library procedures and policies; creates a welcoming environment for library patrons; and promotes the library through various marketing methods and strategies.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree preferred. Extensive experience may be substituted for educational qualifications.
Applicants with demonstrated public library experience preferred.
