[OPLINLIST] Zoomax Aurora HD Magnifier Available

Hello,

We have available for any library that may be interested a ZOOMAX Aurora HD Magnifier.  The magnifier will have to be picked-up, as we will not ship.

Please see the below detail from our IT Department:
There are two power buttons on the magnifier. There is a missing power button on the screen of the magnifier. It was a clear plexiglass semicircle that was mounted under the power icon. The patron would tap the plexiglass piece to power the screen on. The piece is missing. We would have to use a pencil in the empty cavern where the missing piece was located to turn on the screen. Once the screen is turned on, we would just use the main power button to turn the magnifier on and off. If a patron put their finger or other apparatus in the cavernous area on the button of the screen, we would have to start all over again.

We placed tape over the area to prevent patrons from doing this, but they still persisted. I contacted the manufacturer with our information asking about a replacement piece and could never get a reply. If the staff unplugged the unit from the outlet, we would have to start over as well.
