recall the title and author of a book she has read in the time frame from
1963-1969. This book is a book that could be classified as children's or
young adult. She also thought that this was either a Newberry honor or
Caldecott honor. We have searched NoveList, but have found a book that
matches.</FONT></DIV>

his heirs a chance to win the exclusive inheritance of
his huge estate. To be the winner, the heirs had to solve a
riddle. The solution includes facts from the stock market and the Wall
Street Journal. A young girl solves the mystery and becomes the heir, and
develops a close friendship with the old man. </FONT></DIV>

wholesome, educational, and gripping book.</FONT></DIV>
