Memorial Public Library is seeking an
energetic, service-oriented leader to become the next Library Director.
The
successful applicant will demonstrate leadership, excellent people
skills, the
ability to work with staff and patrons, and a vision of what libraries
can mean
to their communities. The willingness to be active in the community is
essential.<o:p> </o:p></font><font color="#000000"

The Kaubisch Memorial Public
Library is located in <st1:City w:st="on">Fostoria</st1:City>, a rural
community of 13,500 an hour south of <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">Toledo</st1:place></st1:City>. The library
enjoys strong community support and employs a dedicated staff committed
to
providing excellent service. <br>
<br>
Qualifications: </font><br>
<ul>
<li><font color="#000000" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">MLS/MLIS
from an ALA accredited program with three (3) years of progressive
supervisory or management experience, OR</font></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><font color="#000000" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">Bachelor's
degree and a minimum of eight (8) consecutive years of public library
experience at manager or director level which has included three (3)
years of direct supervision of staff.</font></li>
</ul>
<font color="#000000"><font face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">Salary:
$55,000 - $65,000, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
