<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial;">The Dover Public Library
will be hosting acclaimed mystery author Carrie Bebris for a special Meet the
Author program on Tuesday, June 28^th at </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">7:00 PM</span><span style="font-family: Arial;">.<span>  </span>Bebris is
the author of the Mr. and Mrs. Darcy mysteries—a series featuring newlyweds
Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy from Jane Austen’s <i>Pride and Prejudice.<span>  </span></i>Mr. The
series offers plenty of lively dialogue, suspense, and romantic interplay, with
eerie twists reminiscent of the gothic novels so popular in Austen’s day. <span></span></span></p>

<span style="font-family: Arial;">The Darcy Mystery Series
debuted with <i>Pride and Prescience, </i>which
made the Independent Mystery Booksellers Association bestseller list and was
named one of the five best mysteries of 2004 by Library Journal.<span>  </span>Successive books bring the Darcy duo into
contact with characters from other Austen novels, including her most recent titles,
<i>The Intrigue at Highbury</i> (2010),
which is based on <i>Emma, </i>and <i>The Deception at Lyme </i>(2011), which is
based on <i>Persuasion.<span></span></i></span><i><span style="font-family: Arial;"></span></i><i>  </i><span style="font-family: Arial;">Refreshments and a book
signing sponsored by Waldenbooks will follow the program, which is free and
