</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=EN-US link=blue vlink=purple><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>Hello everyone,<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I want to start a discussion about Intranets in the library. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> Are there any libraries who use an Intranet to communicate, store documents, run centralize calendars, and schedulers for library employees to use internally? <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Logic dictates that setting up an Intranet, to centralize communication, would be a Cost-effective way to increase workforce productivity and enhance collaboration between employees. The tools I have right now to start the configuration process of setting up an internal Intranet will be a Windows 2003 server running Internet Information Services 6.0. Is there anyone out there with experience setting up an Intranet up who would like to share their ideas and experience?
