announce the availability of LSTA funds for a special grant program associated
with the Ohio Ready to Read program. The State Library of Ohio and the Ohio
Library Council in partnership administer the Ohio Ready to Read program, an
ongoing statewide initiative, to help address the early literacy needs of <st1:State
w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Ohio</st1:place></st1:State>'s youngest
citizens. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face="Century Gothic"><span style='font-size:
10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic"'> <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face="Century Gothic"><span style='font-size:
10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic"'>Under this special grant program, public
libraries will have the ability to purchase the second edition of
PLA/ALSC’s early literacy outreach toolkit, <font color=black><span
style='color:black'>Every Child Ready to Read ® @ your </span></font>library® 2<sup>nd</sup>
edition <font color=black><span style='color:black'>(ECRR2). </span></font>Individual
proposals may not exceed a request of $1511 in federal funds. A cash
match of 25% of the total project amount is required. Only the kits
themselves may be purchased using project funds. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face="Century Gothic"><span style='font-size:
10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic"'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
