 lic has access to its Government’s information. The State Library of Ohio is the only full regional federal depository in Ohio and is also a depository for state information. The Government Information section of the State Library contains over 1 million publications, dating from the 1700′s to the present.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"'>In 2011 the <a href="http://gpo.gov/about/gpohistory" target="_blank"><span style='color:windowtext'>U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) celebrated its 150<sup>th </sup>anniversary</span></a>. The year-long celebration included an exhibit and book entitled <em><span style='font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"'>Keeping America Informed: 150 Years of Service to the Nation</span></em> (<a href="http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/GPO-KEEPINGAMERICAINFORMED/pdf/GPO-KEEPINGAMERICAINFORMED.pdf"><span style='color:windowtext'>download large PDF of book</span></a>). The e

 hibit featured publications, artifacts, and photographs highlighting the documents GPO produces, who the people of GPO are, and the technology and craftsmanship that combine to get the job done.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><strong><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"'>Special Presentation:</span></strong><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"'> George Barnum, Agency Historian, U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) will present at the State Library the afternoon of&nbsp; <strong><span style='font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"'>April 2, 2012 at 1:00 &#8211; 2:00</span></strong>. He coordinated&nbsp;the GPO’s 150th anniversary observances in 2011 including the publication of a new official history Keeping America Informed:&nbsp; The U.S. Government Printing Office 1861-2011: 150 Years of Service to the Nation and curated of the special exhibit of the same title. He will present information and images
