For the first time, all 50 states are participating in the CSLP (Texas is the most recent to join). Several important decisions about upcoming programs were made at this meeting. I'm proud to say this was one of the top themes suggested by Ohio librarians for 2015.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'>If your library uses the CSLP program themes and resources, I strongly encourage you to register on the CSLP website, <a href="http://www.cslpreads.org/">http://www.cslpreads.org/</a>. Registration is fast and free for any library worker at any Ohio public library. Once registered and logged in, you have immediate access to numerous extra resources not found in the manual, many of which are produced after the manual is released in the fall. Among these are sign language videos demonstrating signed rhymes that go with this year’s nighttime theme. You will also find an audio PSA in English and Spanish (video coming very soon), web banners, logos, and more. Log in and check under “Proprietary Downloads”.
