The
blogs Nathan is reading and the librarians he follows on Twitter are full of new
ideas and energetic conversations from its sessions. Of course it's no
small task to put those ideas into action, but it's good to be
challenged. It's good to be inspired. </font><br>

We can't send you to Anaheim today, but we can bring the conference
closer to you. ALA's 2012 Virtual Conference is July 18 & 19, and
SWON has signed up to host it. Join us at the Rookwood Tower for two
full days of sessions, running from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. These are
full days--they even have author sessions during lunch!</font><br>

At the virtual conference you'll hear from speakers including Jamie
LaRue, Director of the Douglas County (Colorado) Libraries, and Lee
Rainie, Director of the Pew Research Center’s Internet & American
Life Project. Marlene Harris will talk about "Filling patron demand for
great ebooks without the 'big 6 publishers'," and Steven Bell will show
