Boy Who Came Back from Heaven</i>, has scheduled events at the Dover Public
Library and the Tuscarawas County Public Library this summer. </span></p>

Thursday, July 26<sup>th</sup>, Malarkey will visit the Dover Public Library
(525 North Walnut Street) at 7:00PM. On Saturday, August 11<sup>th</sup> at
2:00PM, the Tuscarawas County Public Library has scheduled a visit that will
take place in the downstairs fellowship hall of the First United Methodist Church
(201 West High Avenue in New Philadelphia).<span>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:normal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";background:#faf5eb">Malarkey is a Christian therapist with a counseling
practice near Columbus, Ohio. He attended the College of Wooster and earned a
graduate degree from Ohio State University. His academic background includes
studies in clinical psychology, psychological assessment, and family
counseling. </span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""></span></p>

November 2004, Malarkey and his son, Alex, were involved in a horrific car
accident that left Alex presumed dead on the scene. Alex survived but suffered
traumatic injury to his brain and an internal decapitation. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:normal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">After
two months in a coma, however, Alex slowly learned to speak again and had
incredible things to say about where he’d been: of events at the accident scene
and in the hospital while unconscious, of unearthly music, of the angels that
took him through the gates of heaven, and of speaking with Jesus Christ. The
story is detailed in Kevin’s book, <i>The
Boy Who Came Back from Heaven</i> (Tyndale House Publishers).</span></p>

interested in books with faith-based themes,” says Dover Public Library 
Circulation Manager Paula Fawcett.  “It is exciting to be able to bring a

best-selling author such as Kevin Malarkey to the Tuscarawas Valley.  We
are hoping the churches in the Valley take advantage of the 
opportunities to

& Technical Services Manager Andrea Legg said that the book’s message will
resonate with those who have read Todd Burpo’s best seller, <i>Heaven Is for Real</i>. “Readers are
starting to gravitate towards these real-life stories of hope and perseverance
in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds,” she said. “It’s a terrific trend
to watch.”</span></p>
