However, since the first two waves for FY2012 were not issued until July 10<sup>th</sup> (Wave 1) and July 11<sup>th</sup> (Wave 2) this year, those Form 486 deadlines will be November 7<sup>th</sup> and November 8<sup>th</sup>, respectively.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"'>Because of changes in the technology plan requirements, where plans are now only required if you are applying for Priority 2 funding, many libraries have not renewed their tech plans. However, Block 4 of the Form 486 has not been updated to incorporate the change and still requires you to click Box 8 even if you do not have a current tech plan. To complete Box 8, click on the down arrow where you choose your Plan Approver and choose “Other”.
