We never did fine forgiveness. Our administration was always afraid that people would abuse it – i.e. people would just not pay their fines and wait until fine forgiveness rolled around, cutting into the little revenue that we do get from fine collections. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>It sounds to me that your idea would best benefit the heavily read teens – smart kids aged 13-17 who will check out a lot of books at one time, actually read them, but can be a tad irresponsible.
