It sounds like a great opportunity in many ways, especially since many people are scanning and putting their own yearbooks online themselves. But for Grand Valley Public Library, we're interested in it as being able to have them stored and saved to disc as well, which we would also be able to supply a copy to our school. We have many years that have been stolen or destroyed in our collection and have been told the same about our School's collection.<br></div><div><br></div><div>GVPL biggest fear is though sending some of our rare yearbooks or even any of yearbooks and never seeing them again. That is why I contacted State Librarian Beverly Cain to see if she had heard anything about this.<br></div><div><br></div><div>If I find any information out about this I will be glad to pass the information along to you. Best of luck.<br></div><div><br></div><div>Andrew</div><div><span name="x"></span><div>Andrew C Davis<br></div><div>Director<br>Grand Valley Public Library</div><div>aka the Orwell Library Association<br>http://www.grandvalley.lib.oh.us/<br>1 N School Street<br>Orwell, Oh 44076<br>440-437-6545 ext 1001</div>
