This position requires the ability to guide and inspire the day-to-day direction of the reference staff. Responsibilities may include providing in-person and virtual reference assistance, teaching public classes, conducting book talks, coordinating our readers’ advisory services, and growing reference-related connections within the local community. It is hoped candidates will embrace technology, seek innovative ways of finding solutions, welcome change, and balance traditional with new approaches. <br><br>An MLIS from an ALA accredited school is required. At least 2-3 years of experience in a public library Adult Services / reference department is preferred.
