addresses the need for: (1) a framework for early childhood and family support services in a public library setting that is evidence-based, focused on parents/caregivers as first teachers, organized around the developmental needs of the
<i>whole</i> child and <i>intrinsically </i>linked with other family support agencies and (2) recognition of the library as a key institution within the early childhood and family support community, and a partner in the promotion of healthy child and family

Family Place</span></a></span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif";color:black"> is working with 28 partner libraries (15 systems) in eight states (CO, OH, KS, MI, NM, NV, OK and TX). Our partner libraries in Ohio are Cuyahoga

of the Library relative to early childhood and family centered services. To that end administrators and children’s librarians from four branches of the Cuyahoga County Library and two branches of the Stark County Library:
