I remembered that I hadn’t been there in a while when I saw it on screen at SWON’s STEM Summer Reading Program workshop last week. Pulling the lower balloon mimics the action of your diaphragm, which pulls air into your lungs. And the photo on Pinterest links back to the science site that created this particular lung model, including steps on how to build your own.</p><p>We asked how many of the librarians at the STEM workshop get programming ideas from librarians at different systems. Only a few raised their hands.
