Robert Kaminski and Sarah Thomas for their outstanding essays describing their personal journey to library school and their future plans on working with young people and diverse populations in the future. Each awardee was given $1,000 scholarship toward their

populations? “Diverse” in this context is broadly defined and includes (but is not limited to) people of diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, people of diverse physical abilities or disabilities, or those of diverse economic backgrounds.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
