<p><strong><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Salary:</span></strong><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">   $45,760; Exempt,
Full-Time. 40 hours per week. Excellent benefits.<br>

<strong><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Reports to: </span></strong> 
Information Technology Manager<br>
<br>
<strong><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Qualifications:</span></strong> 
 <br>
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required. Supervisory experience
desirable. Ability to hire, train, and supervise staff essential. 
Experience with project management. Demonstrated attention to detail. Working
knowledge of TCP/IP, network management, routing, switching, and basic
scripting required. Sufficient knowledge of wired and wireless computer
equipment, servers, printers, Windows operating systems, office software and
telecommunications equipment to troubleshoot effectively. Experience preferred
in public library service, computer configuration, pc hardware and software
deployment, and networking.  Experience with Integrated Library System
preferably III/Sierra helpful.  Ability to  listen, speak and write
clearly and effectively essential.  Ability to maintain effective vendor
relationships for the library. Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and
implement them effectively.  Dependable work habits. Valid driver’s
license and proof of auto insurance required.  Ability to lift 40 lbs. and
move equipment in and <span class="">out</span> of building. <br>
<br>
<strong><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Summary of Duties:</span></strong> <br>
Supervises 3 PC Technicians and 1 Server Operator and their daily
workflow.  Supervises and monitors Help Desk operation. Maintains
connectivity on GCPL WAN through configuration, maintenance, and
troubleshooting of logical and physical network.  Supervises workstation,
server configuration, and maintenance. Supervises maintenance of accurate
inventory records.  Provides for and conducts staff cross-training, and
writes instructions for critical tasks.  Oversees purchasing for the IT
department.<br>
<br>
<strong><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Scheduling needs:</span></strong>  
Weekdays with one evening and rotating Saturday.  Other weekend hours as
needed for planned or emergency situations.<br>

<strong><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Deadline for
