<p class="MsoNormal">Founded in 1921, the Greenville Area Public Library serves the residents of Greenville Borough and the Townships of Hempfield and West Salem in Mercer County, with a full-time staff of four, one part-time and a number of volunteers. The
library is open 45 hours each week and has a dynamic program, which has grown dramatically in the past five years. The annual budget of $279,000 is supported by state and local funds as well as a $6.4 million endowment, ensuring that our programs for the
community are funded.<o:p></o:p></p>
