</head><body><p>Hello there!<br></p><p><br>I'm not sure if I'm particularly qualified to be talking about this, but we just started a Graphic Novel Club (sort of) here at Putnam Co. I coordinated with the Youth Services Librarian here for most of what I needed. We already have a teen club that meets to help that department once a month, so it was initially advertised that way. We also had a themed lock-in for SRC where I set up a table with a display of, well, random graphic novels and passed out fliers and information.<br><br>I'd imagine the same would hold true for something less specific. PR through teen events is probably your best bet to attract patrons to the club. Also, I've been told that offering food and drink does wonders--I'm still trying to figure out of this works or not by attempting to ply the teens here with cookies this month. I had tea for the last meeting (the graphic novel we read was set in Japan--I thought it was fitting) went over well. <br><br>The outcome here was sort of small, but we're a rural area--it's to be expected, really. I'm working a little more closely with Youth Services this time around by sending something out in the newsletter to see if that catches any more attention.
