<p>I've seen schools use grants to purchase technology. I would think they should be the ones to buy them, not the library.<br>

Rossford library recently collaborated with our school system and purchased multiple copies of e-books from the high school and middle school’s required reading list. One of Rossford Board of Trustees strongly suggested the library purchase e-readers to give
to the students who don’t have a device available.</p>

Has anyone done this kind of project? What criteria was used to distribute the equipment? And are their implication for using public money for such a project?</p>
