newly created position comes about as we anticipate the conclusion of
our $5 million renovation and expansion (17,000sq. ft.) of our
historic Carnegie Library located in the heart of downtown Ashtabula.
</font></p><p align="LEFT" style="margin-bottom: 0in" class=""><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: large;" class="">This leadership position
will take up the challenge of advancing the mission of our Library by
performing a full range of professional library work at the Ashtabula
and Geneva libraries, and with the County Bookmobile. If you choose
to accept this mission you will be responsible for planning and
implementing library services and programming for young adults
(typically 12-18) including those with diverse backgrounds and
abilities. You will be given opportunity to provide prompt, courteous
and direct assistance to patrons, with information regarding the use
of library materials, equipment and services. You will also be challenged with providing reader's advisory and reference services, while
ensuring the library's collections include relevant print and digital
resources aimed at the specific interests and needs of teens in our
community.</span></p><p align="LEFT" style="margin-bottom: 0in" class=""><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: large;" class="">Lake Erie in your front yard
with 18 covered bridges, a plethora of wineries, and a nearly
county-long hiking/biking trail in your back yard is where you will
find the Ashtabula County District Library system in Northeast Ohio.
