HEAD OF YOUTH SERVICES</b><br>

The Hudson Library and Historical Society, a 5-Star Library, is seeking a highly-motivated, innovative, collaborative and service oriented professional to lead a very busy and growing Youth Services Department. The ideal candidate must have a strong commitment
to customer service; be able to lead as well as work effectively as part of a team; have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to prepare statistical data and budgets; demonstrated ability with online media, services and software; and
the ability to develop and implement dynamic library programming and outreach. A thorough knowledge of Children’s and YA literature is required along with a vision of the changing needs of library users. For a complete job profile please visit hudsonlibrary.org.<br>

Qualifications:<br>
<br>
· Master’s Degree in Library/Information Science accredited by the American Library Association<br>
· 3+ years of progressively responsible supervisory experience and/or project management<br>
· Knowledgeable about emerging technology trends<br>
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; some HTML is a plus<br>

Salary and Benefits:<br>

Salary - $43,500.00 with a comprehensive benefits package.<br>
