compliance with employment laws, policies and procedures while directing the
human resources functions for the library, including benefit administration;
personnel policy and procedure implementation/development; personnel record
keeping; and selection, orientation, training, development and evaluation of
staff, in accordance with the goals and objectives established by the Library
Board and Library Administration.<span>  </span>This
is a newly created position.<span></span></span></span></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">

degree from an accredited four-year college or university with significant
course work in personnel management and human resources. Minimum of two years
of human resources experience preferably in public sector and minimum of three
to five years of increasingly responsible experience in a personnel office at
the professional level.<span>  </span>Commitment to
obtain additional human resources training as necessary.<span>  </span>Keeps current in human resource matters
through professional reading and conference or workshop attendance.<span>  </span>Reliable transportation in order to get to
all library facilities and bookmobiles. </span></span></p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">
