<p class="MsoNormal">This workshop covers the same content offered in our online version, including basic cataloging concepts and processes and demonstrations of how to describe and catalog our most numerous resource—books—from an RDA-friendly perspective.
Attendees will get to know the variety of tools available to help support their cataloging, learn to identify RDA and hybrid records in MARC format, and practice a sample workflow.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">This session will focus on the issues, fields, and elements to be considered when cataloging periodicals, covering the same material as our online version. Attendees will practice how to identify records for serial works, select the best
record for copy cataloging, understand how RDA impacts how we catalog resources issued in more than one part, and explore additional factors to consider when working with electronic serials.<o:p></o:p></p>
