<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">The purpose of this specific Coordinator-level position within the Collection Development department is to select and acquire library materials for the library system, specifically materials for adults across ten
 (10) locations. This responsibility involves the identification of popular materials in physical and digital formats including fiction, audiobooks, and large print. The Selector practices evidence-based selection and is available for consultation regarding
 collections for adults district-wide.  An awareness of current and forthcoming titles, literature, and popular culture is essential. 
</span>This role has considerable latitude in the application of professional practices, and may be consulted to advise and resolve difficult or unusual problems in the assigned area of responsibility.
