Dr. Matthew Toussant is responsible for building all CAS databases, provides leadership for new products and content, and leads product capabilities developed for SciFinder and STN. His unit is accountable for services CAS provides under the United States Environmental
Protection Agency contract in support of the Toxic Substances Control Act. Dr. Toussant’s duties as head of database operations date to 1998, and his role with Products began in March 2014. He holds B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from The Ohio State University,
specializing in food chemistry and nutritional biochemistry.<br>
<br>
Dr. Michael Dennis is responsible for all CAS legal matters, including licensing of intellectual property (IP); the CAS Program Management Office (PMO), which executes CAS’s Strategic Projects; CAS Innovation, which innovates transformative solutions for existing
and new customers, and CAS Strategy working with the CAS President and Leadership Team. Dr. Dennis joined CAS in 1997. He earned his Ph.D. in biochemistry from the Ohio State University, and his JD from Capital University.<br>
