<p class="MsoNormal">Each year, the Institute for Healthcare Advancement (IHA) honors people that have made outstanding achievements in health literacy by presenting them with an
<b>IHA Health Literacy Award</b>. This award includes a $500 honorarium and complimentary registration, airfare, and hotel for the IHA's 18th Annual Health Literacy Conference, to be held May 1-3, 2019 in Costa Mesa, California.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Awardees in recent years have included two public libraries: Moore Public Library in Oklahoma for its Health Literacy Program (2018) and Richmond Public Library in California for its Digital Health Literacy Project (2016).<o:p></o:p></p>
