<b>Minimum Requirements: </b></p>
<ul style="margin-bottom: 0in">
<li>ALA-accredited MLS/MLIS degree</li><li>Minimum of five years experience working in public libraries</li><li>Ability to envision and promote the role of the regional system in the future</li><li>Solid understanding of the philosophies, trends, and “best practices” in the library and information technology fields</li><li>Outstanding collaborative leadership skills</li><li>Frequent regional and statewide travel in personal vehicle</li></ul>

<b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul style="margin-bottom: 0in">
<li>Previous supervisory experience in public libraries</li><li>Successful experience in developing/managing budgets and writing grants</li></ul>

<b>Compensation:</b><span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Annual salary of $41,500 (working 25.0 hours per week) plus a selection of benefits</p>
