<p class="MsoNormal">Required education and experience:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>ALA accredited MLS/MLIS degree<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Five years of professional experience in youth library services, including programming and collection development.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Extensive knowledge of library materials and services for youth aged 0-18.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Supervisory experience in a public library setting.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">General summary:<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Responsible for providing library services to youth, parents, teachers, caregivers, and other individuals and organizations that work with youth, as well as patrons and agencies served
by the Outreach Services Department.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Responsible for the administration of all aspects of the Youth Services and Outreach Services Departments, including planning, directing, supervising, promoting, and evaluating all
programs and services.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Over 90% of time is spent on management of Youth Services, and 10% or less on Outreach Services.<o:p></o:p></p>
