The Franklin Branch Manager is responsible for effective day-to-day operation and management of branch library. Duties include daily staff scheduling to assure sufficient personnel coverage during all open hours, thorough attention to facility management and coordination and communication to the proper person to fix problems, thoughtful selection, training and evaluation of branch staff, competent provision of direct information services to library users, including assistance with computers. The Branch Manager is responsible for effectively implementing and evaluating branch services and programs. Manager works closely with other administrative staff to assure library services are responsive to community needs. This position also interprets and implements library policy and procedure as well as assisting in their development with other administrative staff.
