has an opening for a salaried Assistant Director. This position is responsible for library operations in the absence of the Director; directs extension operations, in conjunction with branch and mobile services supervisors and in alignment with the administrative
goals and objectives; participates in the hiring, training, and evaluating of staff; ensures that staff perform duties according to standardized procedures; implements library policies; oversees system-wide statistics; oversees safety and security concerns
for the library system including scheduling and supervision of security guards at the Main library; and fosters and maintains cooperative relationships within the library system's service district, including village and township officials in conjunction with
Support Services Manager and Director.</span></p>
