<strong>Library Staff as Public Servants: A Field Guide for Preparing to Support Communities in Crisis</strong>.”
<br>
This 30-page field guide is the result of a project on reimagining youth services during crises, led by Mega Subramaniam at UMd and consultant Linda Braun, with input from over 130 public library workers. In the summer of 2020, the project team studied how
 public libraries are supporting their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic and in a time of increased civic unrest resulting from the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade, and Dion Johnson.

 Tween Cooking Club at Rocky River Public Library meet via Zoom and prepared a recipe together.  This past month they made First Lady Fran DeWine's recipe, "Becky's Brownies," named after one of her daughters.  It's a super easy microwave recipe. They invited
 the First Lady to drop into their class to say hello.  She in turn created an entire cooking demonstration for the library.  In the video she also promoted Ohio's Imagination Library and encouraged youth to create and write their own cookbooks with their families
 like she has with hers.  Rocky River Public Library wanted to share this <strong>
