<span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Working in the IT Department will give you an opportunity to use your computer knowledge for a lot of different things, so each day is a little different. It's a mix of customer service to co-workers
and library patrons through help desk support for Windows and Apple Mac environments; computer troubleshooting to resolve problems with hardware and software; providing LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi support and monitoring network systems and software; virtual infrastructure
support; hardware and software installation and updating; monitoring and adjusting VOIP telephone systems; and various computer projects. You'll be talking with co-workers via email, online, over the phone, or in-person to help them with various computer issues.
You'll also be in the public areas fixing or repairing the computers, printers, and various devices that the public use. We provide training and a lot of hands-on learning to get you up to speed with our computer operations. </span></p>
