<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Ohio libraries will be starting their summer library programs (SLP) very soon. After the unique experience of 2020, it’s still uncertain what to expect this year, except that libraries will step up and offer
fun, enriching programs and activities for your communities, and that these opportunities will make a positive difference for Ohioans during this transitional time.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The State Library asks all Ohio public libraries to report on their SLP at program’s end. Your participation in the
<b>2021 Ohio Summer Library Program Evaluation</b> will help the State Library, Regional Library Systems, suppliers of statewide incentives, and the Collaborative Summer Library Program to provide the most useful resources and support to Ohio’s libraries.

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Your participation also allows us to tell stakeholders and decision-makers how summer programs and activities at public libraries positively impact children, teens, families, adults, and communities.<o:p></o:p></span></b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The survey will be open from early June through mid-September. A link will be posted to OPLINlist, the Library Youth Services list, the State Library’s OHLib list, and the Small Libraries list. The link will
also be added to the Ohio SLP page of the State Library website (<a href="https://library.ohio.gov/ohio-summer-library-program">library.ohio.gov/ohio-summer-library-program</a>). Please help us achieve 100% participation for 2021.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Here is a summary of the questions on the survey. Review these questions, and track your SLP activities accordingly if possible. The survey can take as little as ~5 minutes if you have your numbers ready
at hand, longer if you have narrative feedback to share. In 2020, the average time spent on the survey was just under 15 minutes.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
