<div>On Wednesday, June 30 at 7 p.m. the Hudson Library & Historical Society will host a live virtual streaming event with Kate White, author of

<i>The Fiancée</i>. <i>Publishers Weekly</i> calls this book “A skillfully constructed page-turner” and states “Expert pacing, characters readers can love to hate, and an intelligent heroine make this a winner.”</div>

<div><i>The Fiancée</i> is a riveting psychological thriller about a captivating young woman who joins a family and threatens to upend their picture-perfect lives. Summer, her husband Gabe, and Gabe’s young son arrive at the annual family gathering at her in-laws’
