events, and activities for the adults in our diverse communities. You'll travel to the communities in our service area that include Liberty, Monroe, Middletown, Trenton and West Chester, set up your program, present it, get program evaluations, assist patrons
afterwards with their book selections, tear down, and go to the next program. </span></p>

A Bachelors or a Master’s degree in an associated field is helpful.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience creating, preparing & presenting programs, events, or classes.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Have a valid driver's license, be insurable, & have reliable means of transportation to travel to the different program sites.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Provide excellent customer service demonstrating a professional, courteous, & respectful attitude. </span></li><li><span>Collaborate with the Programming Coordinator, to develop ideas for diversified & inclusive services & programs in response to identified community needs for adults. </span></li><li><span>Write program and/or event descriptions for the programming calendar & blog posts. </span></li><li><span>Be familiar with & keep up to date with applicable new trends in library programming & community engagement practices. </span></li><li><span style="color:#1F1F20">Have excellent computer skills and be proficient with software such as the library catalog, databases, graphics programs, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office.</span><span> </span></li><li><span style="color:#1F1F20">Have the ability to plan, prioritize, manage, and coordinate projects while meeting deadlines.</span><span> </span></li><li><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Have an expert level knowledge of popular reading materials, movies, music, and interests of adults. </span></li><li><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Effectively speak, listen, read (including cursive), and write in English.</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"> </span></li></ul>
