<b><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Job Description: </span></b><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Under general direction, the Community Engagement Librarian supports the library mission by providing participation in community initiatives and coordinating internal
and external programming. The Community Engagement Librarian will promote programs and services provided by Ritter Public Library. This position requires work with local media, creates publicity materials and assistance in the maintenance of the library’s
website and social media presence. The position requites a high degree of independent initiative as well as collaboration with department staff and other departments.<o:p> </o:p></span></p>

</span>Today the library, a member of CLEVNET, serves approximately 14,543 local residents.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>Located on Lake Erie, 45 minutes from downtown Cleveland, Vermilion is a community with a summer population that brings greater numbers into the building.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>The library is open 7 days a week and provides meeting spaces and programs for many.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">

accompany a competitive benefits package. </span><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Franklin Gothic Book",sans-serif;background:white">The qualified candidate must be available to work a rotating schedule, including evenings and weekends and occasionally
