I think our patrons expect to find on-order titles in the catalog. No one reads the old James Patterson. They just want the newest one as soon as possible. If you don't have on-order titles, then they're going to buy inline at Walmart as soon they see it. At
my last library were able to put the release date in the MARC; Sirsi is a little less flexible.<br>
