<span style="color: rgb(112, 48, 160); font-size: 12pt;">Working in the IT Department will give you an opportunity to use your computer knowledge for a lot of different things, so each day is a little different. It's a mix of customer service to co-workers
& library patrons through help desk support for Windows & Apple Mac environments; computer troubleshooting to resolve problems with hardware & software; providing LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi support; monitoring network systems & software; virtual infrastructure support;
hardware & software installation & updating; monitoring & adjusting VOIP telephone systems; & various computer projects. You'll talk with co-workers via email, online, over the phone, or in-person to help them with various computer issues. You'll be in the
public areas fixing or repairing the computers, printers, & various devices that the public use as well as interact with patrons in-person and on the phone. You’ll also help in the makerspace as needed. You don’t need library experience, we provide training
and hands-on learning to help you thrive and get up to speed with our computer operations.
