Ashland Public Library [APL], located in Ashland County, Ohio is seeking an
accomplished leader to serve as their next <b>Director</b>. This dynamic
leadership position reports to a seven-member Board of Trustees and is
responsible for the executive administration of the organization. The Director
will provide sound operations and fiscal management while prioritizing patron
satisfaction, community collaboration and engagement, employee relations, and staff

in 1892, the Ashland Public Library has been the cultural hub of the community.
On top of historically providing a wide range of services beyond just books,
newspapers, music, and movies, the library has drastically expanded its
services and resources recently. The single, main branch is located in the city
of Ashland, Ohio and completed a significant renovation in 2016 which created a

and Compensation<span></span></span></b></p>

master’s degree in Library and Information Science [MLIS], education, public
administration, or another relevant field is required.<span></span></span></li></ul><ul><li>

or more years of experience in library operations management.<span></span></span></li><li>
<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience
with fiscal oversight of an annual budget.<span></span></span></li><li>

collaborating and partnering with trustees, civic/community partners, local

generous compensation package includes a competitive starting pay range minimum
