I have a group of ladies that "saved" our friends' group by agreeing to take over the duties from the 2 ladies that had been running it for a very long time. It has been fairly inactive the last 10 years. </div>

My question is, are they obligated to host open meetings that all members can attend? Currently they work together to pick a time each month and meet. I asked them to pick a set date so that it could be added to our calendar as a reoccurring event.</div>

I think they would get more buy in if they let paying members attend and volunteer, I just wasn't sure if they legally had to host an open meeting.</div>
